As a Church of England school, our governing body has a majority of 'foundation' governers i.e. governors selected because of their Christian faith, to ensure that the Christian trust deed and mission of the school is upheld. We have a governing body of fifteen; a total of nine foundation governors including the parish priest and four parent foundation governors. The remaining governors are a combination of staff governors (total of three including the Headteacher), Local Authority governors (two), and an elected parent governor.
The governing body is responsible for most areas school life. The governors meet every month to manage all areas of governance including Personnel, Finance, Premises, Curriculum and Ethos of the school.
